MITV/STAR FM PRESENTER AND POPULAR COMEDIAN DIVES INTO POLITICS

Ambassador Olushola Olomiluwa Omoniyi popularly known as Mc Shollyboy goes into politics. 

Mc Shollyboy is a big name in the entertainment industry that cannot be swept under the rug. He is a comic presenter for Mitv/Star FM, a wedding compere, the pioneer of Kingdom laugh and the creator of a popular comic series tagged "The Adventures of Mc Shollyboy".

Mc Shollyboy apart from being an entertainer is also an industrial person as he owns one of the biggest Barbing salon in Ketu known as Nexus Barbing salon and his creative skills in Barbing has made him top choice barber for various celebrities. 

When asked why he wants to go into politics with the kind of reputation he has built for himself in the entertainment field all this years, he has this to say. 

"Hmmm yea! I grew up with a famous Politician, Late Chief Gani Fawahinmi and he use to tell me to always stand up for what is right even if am standing alone, so i see a lots of things going wrong in Nigeria politics and instead of criticizing the leaders I decided to contribute my own quota to the Nigeria politics".

Mc Shollyboy will be contesting under All Progressive Congress (APC) for the post of House of Representative, Ward 8, Ondo West, Ondo West Local Government.

Mc Shollyboy is also not totally dropping entertainment for politics as he intend to combine both, stating that his love for entertainment made him study Mass Communication and he is not ready to quit anytime soon. 

Mc Shollyboy is not the first entertainer to venture into politics. Other entertainers who has ventured into politics includes Desmond Elliot, 9ice, Mercy Johnson to mention but a few and they are all doing well in there various fields.

ARTIST SLUMPED FEW HOURS TO HIS LISTENING PARTY

Avibes records A-list artist WillyD sends a sincere apology to fans out there for failure to show up at the listening party which was supposed to hold yesterday June 9th, 2017 at E74. 

Reasons due to health issues which is yet to be disclosed to the general public.

In a statement issued by the secretary of A-vibes record, He stated that WillyD suddenly slumped and was rushed to the hospital at about 4pm yesterday June 9th, 2017.

Every effort to hear directly from him was ineffective as his manager made it clear that it would be impossible for us to speak directly to him. He also stated that, WillyD is recovering and that the management will reschedule another show to make it up to the fans that were disappointed at his absence.

We wish him a fast recovery.
